Join one of our community meet-ups

June meet-ups in Beijing, London, DC, Sydney, Geneva

Hi all

Every quarter, with the help of members of this community, we organise “China Watcher” meet-ups in cities around the world.

Through these meet-ups we bring the community together in the real world, and create an opportunity for you to practice your rusty Chinese 🤩.

As paid members of the RTM community, you get early invites and priority access to these meet-ups. We do also open invites up to the wider community to get more people involved, but you are first in the queue.

The summer is (almost) here so it’s time for our summer drinks meet-ups!

And, I hope you like the idiom we invented to convey the essence of what this community is all about!

• 吃喝聊乐 chī hē liáo lè - “eat, drink, chat, have fun” (a play on the idiom, 吃喝玩乐)

• Beijing: on Wednesday 5th June

• London: on Wednesday 12th June (this is a “China Nerdfest” which we co-host with Trivium China, Young China Watchers, Beijing to Britain, and IoD China Group)

• Washington DC: on Tuesday 18th June (in partnership with the Mandarin Society and Young China Watchers)

• Geneva: on Wednesday 19 June

• Sydney: on Thursday June 20 (placeholder, date TBC)
