Hi all,
Here is the recording of last night’s online meet-up.
Thanks to those of you who managed to join live!
We covered a couple of questions and some upgrades to the membership:
Questions
Quick summary / reminder of the background of Slow Chinese
What is the best method for processing the content?
What is the envisioned way that you and your team have designed it?
Updates (@ 18 mins)
There are two new features available in the Notion membership site
🔥China Trends Tune-up - A collection of three archive newsletters with the theme of ‘consumer scandals’
🔊The Listening List - A live list of my favourite native Mandarin podcasts. With around 40 podcasts at the moment, this list is updated regularly.
For the China trends Tune-up there are two ways to consume it:
Self-paced: You can dive in at your own pace and work your way through the content. I would advise putting aside 1-1.5 hours for each of the three lessons.
Weekly reminder emails: You can sign up here to get weekly email prompts over a three-week period to help you get organised and work through the content in 21 days. Access this via the product page and use the discount code “value” at check-out to zero the price.
We also had a Q&A and discussion after the main presentation for around half an hour.
But that’s not recorded.
So hopefully you can join next time and get stuck in!
I’m off to China in August so I’m bringing the date of the next meet-up forward before I go away.
So please put 3 August in your diary. I’ll update soon with more details of what we are covering.
That’s it for this month. I’ll be back in your inbox on Saturday.
Thanks,
Andrew
