When a Westerner suggests Chinese sites are biased, this is a kind of denial that Western sites are NOT biased. We know better, don't we?

No denial here! That’s one of the reasons why I also suggest not to read Chinese translations of English language media. But anyway this is just about language learning - reading anything is fine for that purpose, regardless of bias - but it helps to know that before wading into something you don’t like or agree with 😊. The problem with Chinese language learning through news is that most recommended sites are boring. Which is a shame because there are actually lots of great Chinese media sites and writing out there. Hence my recommendations!

Hi Andrew, and thanks for the message. I am a blogger specialized in news from a neutral or NON Western viewpoint. My readers are tired of reading that Putin and Xi are “dictators” when both are elected and hugely popular. eWe are tired of reading how the US cheers for Neonazis in Ukraine and Israel. Even if we agreed with the fascist viewpoint, it is still boring. I enjoy the Russian-language news because it is frankly multipolar, but the Chinese sites tend to be more polite and diplomatic. I want red meat. Clearly the Russians and Chinese are at odds with Trump, but China is too nice. I thought maybe you could suggest a more honest.
