2024台湾大选于上周末举行，选举结果也已经出炉。民进党候选人赖清德、萧美琴获得的选票最多，成功当选新一任的总统和副总统。同时参选的还有国民党的侯友宜、赵少康，以及民众党的柯文哲、吴欣盈。
台湾大选是在投票截止后就立刻开票的。一开票，民进党候选人就取得领先优势，把其他党派的候选人甩在后面。
在民进党的竞选总部现场，有上万人在呐喊助威，声势十分浩大。而国民党的支持者则为自己的候选人不断加油打气，说现在正要“奋起直追”。民众党的支持者虽然看到差距越拉越大，但依旧喊话“开票不到最后都不要放弃！”
到了周六晚上八点半，国民党和民众党承认败选，并向赖清德表示祝贺。赖清德也同时发表胜选谈话，不仅对支持者表示感谢，还感谢没有投票给他的人。
他承认民进党还有很多需要改进的地方，并承诺做最能回应民意的政党。
