近期，很多重庆和成都的市民都注意到每个月的燃气费比过去高出来很多。大家一想到花了不少冤枉钱就忍不下去了，于是纷纷向政府部门投诉。后来，两地政府介入调查，发现燃气公司在平时的工作中存在严重的问题。
2024年4月19日，重庆的发布会说，燃气公司的负责人被撤职了，并派出了工作组对相关问题进行整改。第二天，成都查出问题后承诺会向被多收费的用户退款。目前，用户还未收到退款。
